Dr. Patricia Morellato is a plant ecologist working mainly on phenology and temporal ecology of tropical vegetation. She investigates the effects of global climate change on the growth and reproduction cycle of mainly native plants. Morellato is the head of the Center for Research on Biodiversity Dynamics and Climate Change (CBioClima). She is also the coordinator first the first tropical phenology network in Brazil using digital cameras (e-phenology network).

Bachelor in Biology (UNESC, SC), Master in Plant Biology (UNESP, SP), PhD in Ecology and Biodiversity (UNESP, SP - Harvard, US). Bruna investigates leaf phenological patterns, through phenocameras, their main drivers and their relationship with ecosystem processes.
